Company Background

Our client is a growing manufacturing business that has a long and proud history. They have a broad range of products that are sold into the industrial segment and operate in numerous different markets. They have operated in Australia for many years and now they are finding increasing demand for their products and are reaching new global markets. They have been growing at over 20% a year and are poised for an exciting future.

The team is made up of a high calibre group of people and they are now looking for a Corporate Accountant to join their Group Office.

The Role

Reporting to a talented and well-respected Group Financial Controller, your duties as the Corporate Accountant will involve the following:

• Preparation of the monthly management reporting package
• Consolidation of monthly group results
• Be involved in the year-end statutory accounting process
• Be involved in taxation matters and lodge taxation returns
• Liaison with external auditors
• Manage any technical accounting queries
• Balance sheet reviews and P&L analytics 
• Assist with any other ad hoc duties

Your Background

This Corporate Accountant role will suit someone who enjoys working in a professional corporate environment and is open to performing a broad range of tasks. 

To be considered for this Financial Accountant position you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Professionally qualified or part-qualified (e.g. CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.)
• Ideally have worked in a chartered accounting practice of any size and be exposed to solving complex accounting issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise confidently with stakeholders
