Our client is a fast-paced, fast-growing manufacturing organisation with headquarters in Australia. With a few exciting projects in the pipeline, this is an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join at a time of process improvements, change and growth.

The Role

Your duties as the Accountant will include, but will not be limited to: 

• Assisting with financial statement preparation
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing activities 
• Assist with management reporting and analysis
• Cashflow forecasting
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Ad hoc duties as required

Your Background

This Accountant position is best suited to someone looking to take on more duties as time goes by. To be considered, you will meet most of the below criteria:

• Professionally qualified or close to (CA, CPA) 
• Experience in a similar role performing month-end tasks
• Local commercial accounting experience 
• Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Pivot table, VLOOKUP minimum)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise confidently with stakeholders.
