The Role

Your role as the Accounts Payable Officer is a full-function opportunity working closely with the existing finance team and sales department. Your role will see you responsible for the following duties:

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable function
• Process approximately 500 invoices per month across a team of three (moderate volume)
• Managing payments - Non-PO Invoices and service charges
• Review invoices captured through the automated invoice reading system (no manual entry required)
• Prepare reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Process and manage employee expense claims (currently manual, with plans for automation)
• Conduct payment runs twice weekly

Your Background

This role is best suited for an Accounts Payable Officer who enjoys working on projects, clearing through existing backlogs and brings a positive attitude to each day.

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for the following candidate attributes:

• Immediately available to start
• Ideally 1-2 years of full-function end-to-end accounts payable experience
• A hands-on, ‘can-do’ attitude, a self-starter and an investigative personality
• Experience using Dynamics ERP systems is highly desirable
• Experience managing overseas suppliers is highly desirable
