The Role 

Your role as the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supporting the month-end close
• Completing journals, prepayments, accruals
• Conducting general ledger entries and bank reconciliations
• Asset register maintenance
• Assisting with payables, receivables and payroll
• Ad hoc duties from the Finance Manager

Your Background

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for the following candidate attributes:

• Ideally 1-3 years of Assistant Accountant experience 
• Proven working experience using an ERP system
• Happy to work in their Padstow head office 
• A hands-on, ‘can do’ attitude, a self-starter and focus on attention to detail
• Great communication skills as you will be dealing with multiple stakeholders
