Assistant Accountant - Building Services

The Company

Our client provides solutions to the Building Services industry. With a focus on offering their employees long-term career paths, they are a business that is continuously growing. Located near Penrith, they have parking available making it a convenient location to drive to.

The Role 

Your tasks as the Assistant Accountant will include (but will not be limited to): 

• Accounts payable (raising POs, invoice processing)
• Supplier management 
• Cost control (managing project costs/expenses) 
• Fixed asset register maintenance 
• Management of company credit card and fuel card transactions, etc. 
• Ad-hoc reporting and administration 

Your Background

To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Accounts payable or accounts all-round experience in a SME 
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s minimum)
• Blue-collar/construction/project-based industry experience 
• Full Australian working rights
• Driver's licence and access to a car
