The Role 

This is a permanent and full-time Assistant Accountant role where you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supporting the month-end reporting process
• Completing journals, prepayments, accruals
• Conducting general ledger entries, bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Asset register maintenance
• Assist with audit requirements 

Your Background

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for the following candidate attributes:

• Minimum 2-3 years of Assistant Accountant experience performing balance sheet reconciliations and month-end support 
• Manufacturing or wholesale industry experience is highly desirable
• Happy to work in their Padstow head office 
• A hands-on, ‘can do’ attitude, a self-starter and focus on attention to detail
• Great communication skills as you will be dealing with multiple stakeholders
