The Role 

As the Assistant Financial Analyst, your role will be broad and see you involved and exposed to an appealing range of duties. This will include: 

• Management Accounting - Budgeting and forecasting, analysis of spending and revenue analysis 
• Financial Accounting - Balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and expense reimbursements, invoice coding
• Business Partnering with internal and management teams 

Your Background

Our client is looking for an Assistant Accountant who wants to step up to work in this Assistant Financial Analyst role. To be considered for this position, you will ideally meet the majority of the following criteria:

• Degree qualified with plans to start or be studying a professional qualification (e.g. CA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) 
• At least 2 years of accounting experience from a commercial or chartered accounting environment as an Assistant Accountant, Junior Accountant or Intermediate Accountant
• Proven working experience with month-end duties - accruals, journal posting and balance sheet reconciliations 
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise and partner with multiple stakeholders 
• Confident, interactive and sociable personality to business partner with non-finance stakeholders
