Company Background

Our client has a long history in Australia & New Zealand. In more recent times they have focused on property development and are evolving to support new projects. They are currently working on a multi-million dollar site in western Sydney.

They have fantastic offices which are a homage to the company’s heritage. It’s a small office, where everyone works closely to achieve results. You would be working with a very experienced, high-calibre CFO and Finance Manager, with regular interaction with board members and project managers.  It’s a great opportunity to have exposure to some top-level senior stakeholders and enjoy a professional office environment.  They prefer everyone in the office on the days you are working, but there is flexibility to work from home from time to time or stagger your working hours to suit personal needs.

The Role

This Bookkeeping role could be suitable for an experienced Bookkeeper or Accounts Officer willing to learn and happy to stay in a role like this for the mid-longer term.

They are open to either full-time or part-time (4 days) a week. 

Your tasks will include:

  • Accounts Payable for multi-entities 
  • Corporate credit card & expense management
  • Management of supplier & customer master data
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Review Tax invoices for ATO compliance
  • Invoice generation and payment allocations
  • Supporting the Head of Finance with cashflow management for the business
  • Administration tasks, mail, deliveries, diary & parking coordination 

Your Background

The most important things we are looking for are:

  • Exceptional communication & presentation skills. You will be able to deal with senior level stakeholders confidently, be well-presented & highly organised. Fluent English is non-negotiable.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an accounting-related role – exposure to AR, AP and bank reconciliations is a must-have.
