Business Manager - Education - Inner West

The Role

As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for all non-teaching functions including finance, HR & payroll, IT & property, and enrollments. 

You will also serve as Company Secretary. 

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Overall finance management including hands-on reporting
  • Complete budgeting and forecasting processes 
  • Cash flow and treasury management
  • Government compliance reporting 
  • HR management & oversight of payroll
  • Company secretarial duties including all regulatory requirements & reports, preparing Board agendas & packs and minute taking
  • Property management for 2 sites
  • Overall IT management
  • Develop strategy as part of the leadership team and deliver on strategic goals
  • CAPEX modelling and reporting as required

Your Background

To be considered for this Business Manager role, you should have the following skills and attributes:

  • CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experience in not for profit, experience in education will be highly regarded
  • Track record of process improvement/system implementation projects
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, especially
  • collaborating with non-finance 
  • stakeholders
