The Role

As the Company Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day finances of the business. Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

• Oversee all accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate project allocation
• Reconcile credit card expenses across the team
• Process monthly payroll for 20+ employees and contractors
• Manage project budgets and prepare insightful reports
• Lodge all necessary tax requirements, including BAS, FBT, and payroll tax
• Liaise with external Accountants to finalise accounts

Your Background

To be considered for this Company Accountant role, you should possess the following skills/attributes:

• 2+ years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting 
• Proven experience preparing ATO lodgments
• Experience in managing payroll and comfortable processing payroll independently
• Experience managing budgets and high-volume reconciliations
• Can thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders
• Experience using Xero would be highly regarded
