Their accounting function is currently in the midst of an exciting finance transformation project and have created new roles to support the vision & values of the organisation.

The Role

This Finance Business Partner role will support the CFO and Financial Controller and will evolve as time goes on. 

Initially, you will play a key role in the following projects and tasks:

• Drive process improvements across the end-to-end revenue and billing processes for the school. 
• Critical review of the schools additional revenue streams. Modelling of proposed new and existing curricular and extracurricular costs and profitability to the business.
• Financial analysis and identification of key business drivers to support strategic decision making.
• Provide timely and accurate financials, analysis and insights to the departments within the school to direct operational improvements and cost management.
• Support non-financial stakeholders to interpret and understand financial information.
• Providing financial advice and support to departmental heads, particularly for the preparation of detailed budgets.
• Assist with the management of multiple financial transformation projects.

Your Background

To be considered for this Finance Business Partner role you will meet the following criteria:

• Be professionally qualified as an Accountant (e.g. CA or CPA or equivalent).
• Have examples of working on transformation / improvement projects on your resume. If these are related to revenue recognition, cashflow, billing processes or similar, these would be viewed favourably.
• Currently working as a Finance Business Partner or Senior Management Accountant (or equivalent) in a similar role.
• Have excellent EQ skills, able to work with parents and departmental heads with empathy and patience.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills are absolutely essential.
