Currently, they are looking for a Finance Business Partner/Manager to join the team due to parental leave cover. On offer is a professional and vibrant culture coupled with a hybrid working arrangement – 1 day from home and 4 in the office.

With a home-grown team, they have senior leaders who have extensive company and industry knowledge and pride themselves on developing their staff. This 12-month contract is a great platform to add to your skills. 

The Role

Your role as the Finance Business Partner/Manager will be broad and provide outstanding exposure across the business. You will be working in a high-calibre FP&A team reporting to a talented and energising FP&A Manager. 

Your duties will broadly be broken down as follows (but not limited to): -

• Direct management, training and supervision of a highly independent experienced analyst
• Business partnering and supporting Senior Business Leaders and Executive Team members in the day-to-day management of your designated portfolio
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) and department heads
• Management accounting duties including budgeting, forecasting, analysis and commentary
• Analysis and reporting on key financial metrics
• Modelling – playing a role in the group's P&L forecast whilst also maintaining other financial models and dashboards to provide insights into performance and trends
• Projects and process improvement work that help drive efficiencies and accuracy.

Your Background

To be considered for this Finance Business Partner/Manager role opportunity you will ideally meet the following criteria: -

• Proven track record of supporting and driving commercial outcomes with non-finance stakeholders
• Prior budgeting, forecasting and analysis experience
• Prior staff supervision experience, whether that be as a Team Leader, day-to-day Supervisor or direct Manager
• Intermediate to advanced level Excel with the ability to develop an array of ad hoc models as required – experience with a BI tool would be beneficial
• Well-organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
• Have excellent communication skills and proven stakeholder management capabilities
• A relevant professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Those who have worked in a similar capacity as a Management Accountant or Financial Analyst are welcome to apply
