Boasting a flexible working environment, once you are comfortable in the role you can work from home two days per week.

Working as part of a collaborative team, this is a company with a great culture that prides itself on being fast-paced and nimble, providing a competitive advantage over its main competitors.

  • Ownership of the end-to-end month-en processes ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
  • Financial reporting and analysis, along with commentary on key performance drivers
  • Preparation of monthly cost and performance reports, including P&L and Working Capital reports
  • Collaborating with the Central Finance/Shared Services team to tie up month-end results and ensure the integrity and accuracy of records
  • Support overall forecasting & budgeting processes
  • Weekly cashflow reporting and forecasting
  • Involvement in key process improvement initiatives
  • Deliver commercial and analytical support to Operations to facilitate profitable and sustainable growth

Your Background

To be considered for this Finance Manager role, you will be a qualified Accountant (e.g. CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) and should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience working in a medium to large-sized business within a relevant industry such as construction materials, manufacturing, construction or similar
  • Solid all-round financial accounting, and ownership of the month-end reporting process
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Will have previously managed a team of at least two mid-level staff.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel coupled with experience working with PowerBi will be held in high regard
  • Examples of ‘commercial nous’ to overcome problems, find solutions and demonstrate initiative/proactivity

Those wishing to make a first move out of Audit with industry-aligned clients are welcome to apply, as are those who meet the above criteria and are ready to take a step up in their career (e.g. Senior Accountant).
