Finance & Operations Manager - Law Firm

The Company

Our client is a reputable and growing law firm. A dynamic and fast paced environment, they are committed to mentorship and developing their team. Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring an experienced Finance & Operations Manager to the team to provide oversight and leadership.

The Role 

Acting as the right-hand person to the Directors, you will enjoy multiple touch points across the business and work collaboratively with the senior leadership team. Your oversight will include but not be limited to:

• End-to-end financial management from AP & AR to full month-end process and tax preparation
• Monthly reporting including P&L, variance analysis and cash flow management
• Prepare and finalise budgets & forecasts
• Lead day-to-day operations including office management & facilities
• Manage HR – recruitment, onboarding & performance review processes
• Manage the administration team and drive cross-training and mentoring
• Assist with marketing & BD plans to attract new clients
• Drive process improvement initiatives 
• Business partner with senior leadership on strategy and growth plans

Your Background

To be considered for this Finance & Operations Manager, role you will meet the majority of the following criteria: 

• Professionally qualified accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent)
• Operations/Admin experience within professional services with particular interest in those from law firms
• A good track record of process improvement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You may be an experienced Practice Manager or a Finance Manager from a professional services firm looking to take on a broader role.
