Our client is a globally listed medical technology and device company with an American HQ. They have experienced recent growth and are now on the search to find an intelligent and hardworking Financial Accountant to join them. 

Culturally, they have a well-tenured team with an experienced and driven senior management team who will guide their continued success.  This is a business that offers the opportunity to work from home after you have completed training and demonstrated confidence to use their ERP system and work autonomously in the role. 

The Role

As the Financial Accountant, your role will be multi-faceted and allow you to play a meaningful part in the continued growth of the business. This is a reporting and month-end-focused role that includes:  

• Preparation of the quarterly and annual financial statements per IFRS/ US GAAP. 
• Manage periodic audits and liaise with external auditors on all compliance matters. 
• Preparation of monthly management pack. 
• Manage the end-to-end month-end close process. 
• Variance analysis 

Your Background

To be considered for this Financial Accountant opportunity you will be:

• Either part or fully CPA/CA qualified 
• 2 plus years of experience in a reporting role or Audit role from a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm OR a second-time mover with commercial financial accounting experience 
• Desire to work hard, learn and cope with a fast-paced environment 
• An interest in the medical technology industry 
• It is essential that you are a confident communicator (both written and verbal).

The ideal candidate is a first-time mover from an audit background in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm.
