Reporting to a talented CFO who is a great mentor and coach, you will develop a whole new range of skills in this role. 

They currently have a working from home policy which will apply to this role.

The Role

This Financial Accountant role will manage the end-to-end accounts for one of the key assets in the group. Your role will be broad and will involve the following responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial management of the business, ensuring accuracy and integrity in all financial records and reporting
• Manage the full transactional accounts cycle
• Monitor cash flow, manage bank accounts, and optimise working capital to ensure financial stability
• Prepare detailed financial reports, conduct variance analysis, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, implement new systems, and enhance operational efficiency
• Work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial data and timely reporting
• Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure compliance with tax laws and accounting standards

Your Background

The ideal candidate's background could include:

• Qualified Accountant, either CA or CPA
• Strong understanding of accounting software and Excel
• In-depth knowledge of GST/BAS regulations and other relevant accounting standards
• Ability to analyse complex financial data, identify trends, and provide insightful recommendations
• Exceptional time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build positive relationships
• Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
