The Role 

As the Financial Accountant, you will sit in a corporate head office environment and report to a Financial Controller who enjoys developing and mentoring his team. Your initial duties will include:

• Month end reporting 
• Reconciliations, journals, bank reconciliations 
• Cashflow forecasting 
• Management reporting 
• Board reporting 
• Exposure to budgeting and forecasting processes 
• BAS preparation 
• Transactional AP and AR 

Your Background

As the ideal candidate for this Financial Accountant role, you must fulfil the following criteria: 

• Accounting Degree qualified with solid academic grades (credit average) AND studying towards a CA/CPA qualification or already qualified 
• Experience as an Assistant Accountant ready to step up OR a Financial Accountant who wants to grow and be challenged
• Desire to learn, grow and work hard to build your career in accounting
• Hold permanent working rights (Permanent residency or Australian Citizenship)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Our client will consider a first-time mover in Audit or Business Services from a Big 4 or Accounting firm environment.
