This role will report directly to a talented Financial Controller who provides ample opportunity for career development, mentorship, and support. This is a role that will be hard to rival, allowing you to grow and gain exposure across all aspects of the business.

With open plan, modern offices, this Financial Accountant role boasts one day of work from home weekly. As The Financial Accountant, you will see yourself take ownership of four venues (with room to add more) and you will essentially be a mini “Finance Manager” for these venues.

The Role

This is a role that will come with excellent exposure across the enterprise and the Financial Accountant duties will include but will not be limited to:

Financial stewardship of 4+ venues, including:

• Liaising and business partnering with relevant stakeholders (both financial and non-financial 
• P&L and Balance Sheet preparation 
• Cashflow management
• BAS, IAS, Payroll tax
• Month-end and year-end accounts closing 
• Liaising with an external bookkeeping company (who handle a lot of processing tasks)
• Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable management 
• Ad hoc duties as required

Your Background

To be considered for this Financial Accountant role you will have the majority of the following criteria:

• Confident with month-end accounts preparation (clearly documented on your CV)
• CA / CPA qualification or partly qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with all levels of the business
• Strong attention to detail coupled with a great attitude
• Be excited to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and growing enterprise
