Company Background

Our client is an Australian-grown consulting business with a great reputation. 

They offer great flexibility with the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week once training is complete.

As a result of continued year-on-year growth and to support the audit, they are looking for a talented Financial Accountant to join for a period of 6-8 months. 

The Role

As the Financial Accountant, you will report directly to the CFO. Responsibilities will include:

• Prepare detailed audit working papers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Collect, analyse, and verify financial data for audit purposes.
• Respond promptly and accurately to audit queries from internal and external auditors.
• Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary documentation and information for audit purposes.
• Ensure all audit documentation is organised, complete, and accessible.
• Identify and communicate potential issues or discrepancies to the audit team.
