Company Background

Our client is one of Australia’s best-known tertiary education organisations and has been operating for nearly 50 years both locally and internationally. 

They offer 2 days a week working from home typically, however, through peak periods this role may be expected to attend the CBD office more regularly. 

The Role

Reporting to the FP&A Manager with a wider finance team of 10, this role is one of two Financial Analysts that support the senior management team in their decision-making. More specifically the role will: 

• Assist with the annual budget and ad-hoc forecast preparations.
• Actively review and assist in developing and continuously improving financial models and processes to support planning and reporting requirements.
• Monthly variance analysis of actual performance to budget and last year.
• Analysis and report on Business Unit monthly financial performance.

Your Background

To be successful in this temporary role, you will need to have prior exposure to budgeting and forecasting in a mid-large sized business with multiple entities.
