Company Background

Our client is a world-renowned retail brand with a strong presence within the APAC region. They harbour a fantastic working culture, with many of their finance team working there long term. They are currently entering into their busy period and seeking a confident and ambitious Financial Controller to take a leading role within one of their brands, initially on a temporary basis, with a view to going permanent in 2025.

The Role

As the Financial Controller, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Total oversight of the month-end and year-end process for the brand
• Working with the FP&A and Operations teams on the P&L
• Training, development and future growth of the finance team
• Oversee external audit and tax returns
• Cashflow forecasting

Your Background

To be considered for this Financial Controller role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Immediately available, or short notice period
• Professional qualification (CA, CPA etc)
• Prior experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Prior team management experience
• Experience working within retail (or a product-based environment) is highly desirable
