The Role

Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, this critical Financial Controller position will have responsibility for: 

• Managing a team of 5 within the Financial Control division
• Driving all aspects of finance control including financial and statutory reporting
• Ensure financial reporting is in line with IFRS and group reporting requirements
• Oversee all tax and treasury matters for ANZ
• Manage external audit requirements
• Be part of the ANZ leadership team
• Participate in financial transformation process including system implementation, process improvement and automation, and other continuous improvement projects

Your Background

To be considered for this business-critical Financial Controller role, there are a couple of key requirements to consider:

• Strong experience as a Financial Controller across compliance, statutory and financial reporting
• Experience participating in significant financial transformation projects
• Worked within a complex, global business with significant on-shore operations 
• Experience within related product industries such as retail, pharmaceutical, wholesale, FMCG etc.
• CA/CPA qualified
• Excellent communication skills
