Payroll Officer - Education 

Company Background

Our client is one of Australia’s best-known specialist tertiary education organisations and has been operating for nearly 50 years both locally and internationally. Their Finance team is well-established and cohesive, and is now looking for a Payroll Officer to help them as they continue to expand. 

The Role

This role will be reporting to the Senior Payroll Officer and be managing tasks including but not limited to:

  • Fortnightly payroll cycles for 150-200 employees
  • Managing contractor payroll invoices
  • Manage payroll costing reporting
  • Handling month-end payroll journals 
  • Answering payroll enquiries
  • Ad-hoc payroll tasks

Your Background

  • 2+ years experience with payroll processing
  • Background in manual payroll processing
  • Experience with ADP Payforce will be highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively answer payroll queries
  • Desire to work and progress in payroll
