Company Background

Our client is a well-established financial services organisation that is about to enter the next phase of growth. They have a fast-paced, sales-feel environment. They are currently hiring a number of new roles to bolster the team as they get to the next revenue target. They are also investing heavily in new tech platforms to support that which will automate some finance processes.

The Role

This Senior Accountant role is a great new entry for someone moving from ‘Big4’ or an established commercial Accountant from a relevant industry.

You would be exposed to:

• Financial statement preparation including P&L, Balance sheet & cash flow.
• Preparation and review of month-end processing, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Gathering key data and trends to generate reports, and support FC in the consolidation of monthly, half-year, and year-end accounts and report packs.
• Providing performance insights, analysis, and recommendations to internal stakeholders to support decision-making and drive business performance.
• Working on transformation projects and helping the business align the finance controls & processes as they grow.
• Ownership of company asset register.
• Ownership of finance operations including answering inquiries from internal stakeholders and troubleshooting, with overseas AR and AP outsourcing supports.

Your Background

Our client is looking for someone who:

• Is outgoing, confident and loves working in a fast-paced, social environment.
• Is CA or CPA qualified.
• You have exceptional communication skills and will be able to work with brokers, financial services institutions and senior management with ease.
• You are either a senior level Accountant with clear experience with financial statement preparation on your resume OR a Big4 first-time mover, keen to hone your skills in a dynamic environment.
