Company Background 

Our client is a well-established FMCG business with a long history of providing a range of high-quality products to restaurants and businesses across NSW. Due to their commitment to excellence and quality, they have been in business for over 20 years. The role is based in the office 5 days, but has some flexibility should you need it.

The Role 

As the Senior Accounts Receivable Officer, you will report to the CFO. You will work in a high-volume environment, with the potential to step up to a team leadership position. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career. Key responsibilities will be to: 

• Ensure precise and current accounts receivable documentation
• Execute daily cash management tasks, accurately logging bank deposits and cash receipts
• Proactively address and resolve payment discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain and refine debtor data within the billing platform
• Analyse debtor activity and propose strategies for improved collection
• Collaborate with the accounting team to facilitate the month-end process
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing process enhancements

Your Background

Our client is ideally looking for the following:

• 3+ years’ experience in a high-volume AR environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• A background of working in a small team and collaborating on process improvement
• Experience working in a goods-based environment would be advantageous
• Microsoft Dynamics would be ideal but not essential
