They are currently experiencing a period of change and re-organisation with exciting growth potential in the pipeline. 

The Role 

As the Assistant Accountant, you will be trusted with a variety of duties designed to challenge and build upon your existing skills. Your responsibilities will include:

• Fixed asset maintenance 
• Review depreciation rates in the fixed asset module
• Address a backlog of internal balance sheet items and enter the intercompany transactions 
• Ad hoc tasks as required by the Financial Controller and Finance manager

Your Background

To be successful in this role you must be/have: 

• Immediately available 
• A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in a similar Assistant Accountant/Bookkeeper position
• Experience with reconciliations and managing fixed assets will be very highly regarded
• Strong work ethic and be open to learning new skills and taking on additional responsibilities when required
• Attention to detail is important and you must be able to take on a variety of tasks with a head-on approach
